Social Thinking – “The Incredible Flexible You”
Psychologist Kristin McGuckin and Speech Pathologist Michelle Boyall will be running a six-week social skills program based on the ‘Social Thinking’ curriculum ‘The Incredible Flexible You’, which helps children develop social skills and promote social emotional learning.
The program uses a series of story books to teach different social skills including:
- playing with friends
- learning in a group
- considering the thoughts and feelings of others
The books are accompanied by engaging activities, music and dramatic play to reinforce the lessons and make learning fun!
Who:
Children in Prep and Grade 1
When:
Tuesdays at 4pm for 6 weeks

How long:
Each session runs for 50 minutes
Cost:
$135 per session (Total group cost $810) per child
DSS clients $145 per session (Total group cost $870) per child
